This month, we will focus on TD Banknorth Insurance Agency. During his 20 years in the insurance business, Vinnie Daboul, Senior Vice President Sales and Head of Office, reports, "2006 was one of the most competitive insurance markets I have experienced." Although the local economy is not growing, and many businesses are leaving Western Massachusetts or downsizing, 2006 was a record year for new business sales for TD Banknorth Insurance Agency. This year is off to a strong start, too! This agency has an office on Roosevelt Avenue in Springfield, with 75 employees. Banknorth has over 400 employees, and over 25 offices from Maine to New Jersey. "The employees in Springfield are the best group of people I have ever had a chance to work with," said Daboul. Local businesses often fluctuate with the economy. The Blueberry Hill School community is glad to learn that this local business is prospering! |
