Books for Boys and Girls

Meyers Bros. Kalicka CPA and CPA partner David Kalicka and his wife Janet Kalicka of Longmeadow sponsored the Link to Libraries book donation at the Dr. Marcella R. Kelly Elementary School in Holyoke in collaboration with Link to Libraries Inc. The 150 new books were donated by the Meyers Bros. staff and partners as part of their annual community service program.

David Kalicka, who grew up in Holyoke, told the children of his fondness for the school and for reading. He urged the children to be good readers and to be serious regarding their education.

Link to Libraries Co-founder Susan Jaye-Kaplan was present at the donation as were school faculty and Coordinator Jacqueline Glasheen, assistant principal of Kelly School and Chad Mazza, principal of Kelly School.

Link to Libraries was founded in May 2008 and donates over 600 books monthly to area schools and non-profit organizations in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.
