| CHICOPEE September is Responsible Dog Ownership Month. On Sept. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m., there will be an afternoon of dog related fun to celebrate responsible dog ownership, along with Exercise Finished Dog Training Center. It will take place at Exercise Finished in the Main Street Candlery building located at 35B North Chicopee St. (behind Unique Motors). There will be presentations given on a variety of topics from grooming basics to choosing the right dog for your lifestyle. There will be lots of free activities including agility try-it, trick training workshop and the responsible dog owner challenge (for kids), plus refreshments, vendors and more including a special appearance by Hilary Price of "Rhymes with Orange," who will be signing her books. Our goal is to educate our community on the positive aspects of dog ownership and provide them with an afternoon of fun for them to share with their dogs.
