G.E.D. Examination prep program at Holyoke Library

HOLYOKE -- Cheryl Livengood, reference librarian at the Holyoke Public Library, has announced a special summer G.E.D. Examination preparation program.

This series of review sessions will focus on both the Math and Essay portions of the examination and will include both Algebra and Geometry in the Math segment. The program will be presented as a review of the major subject areas and is not intended as a beginner's introduction. Participants will have an opportunity to take practice examinations in both Math and Essay Writing as well as in other subjects.

That the program will be offered within a highly concentrated four- week period with sessions scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesday between 2 and 3:30 p.m. from July 13 to Aug. 4.
