Holyoke Concerto audition

HOLYOKE -- The Holyoke Civic Symphony and conductor David Kidwell are sending out the call for students to audition in the Symphony's 2010-2011 Student Concerto Competition. Open to students in grades nine through 12 who live in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin or Berkshire counties in Western Massachusetts.

The winner receives a monetary gift and performs with the Holyoke Civic Symphony orchestra on May 1, 2011 in the orchestra's final concert of the season.

Applications must be received by Dec. 17. Auditions will take place on Feb. 12, 2011 at Holyoke Community College. For information and to receive an application, call Emily Lewis at 256-1760 or e-mail david@davidkidwell.net.
