Kid Stuff to sponsor 'Safe Treating Zone'

SPRINGFIELD Kid Stuff opened in January of 2008 and has become the Pioneer Valley's number one family entertainment center. They have teamed up with neighboring businesses within the Bicentennial Plaza to host the area's only designated "Safe Treating Zone."

Safe trick-or-treating will take place between 4 and 7 p.m. on Oct. 31.

Kid Stuff will be sponsoring the event as part of their ongoing commitment their local community. This event provides a chance for little ghosts, vampires and clowns to come with their parents and have safe fun as they enjoy the holiday. The plaza will be well lit and monitored as children are chaperoned to each participating business located within the plaza.

The "Safe Treating Zone" is sponsored by Kid Stuff Inc., located within the Bicentennial Plaza at 1504 Allen St. After filling their bags with treats, all children are invited back to Kid Stuff for a Kooky Costume Contest or to play in the Haunted Laser Tag arena.

Trick-or-treating is free; the Kooky Costume Contest is free with the price of $9.99 Kid Stuff general admission ticket, and Haunted Laser Tag is $7.99 or $5 with price of a general admission ticket.

Special holiday snacks will available from Kid Stuff's Healthy Food-Fast caf including organic hot apple cider or cocoa and delightful vegan cookies, as well as the full regular menu of strictly organic and/or natural whole foods.
