Next PAC meeting scheduled for January 4

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will ring in the New Year with a showing of the video, "Beyond F.A.T. City" on Jan. 4 at the Shriners Hospital for Children, located at 516 Carew St. Frustration, Anger, Tension (F. A. T.) are often the feelings associated with kids who are struggling to learn. Richard Lavoie produced the original F.A.T. City video and in this second installment, he looks back at its impact, as well as looking forward with discussion on the state of special education.

PAC meetings are open to the public, free of charge and offer light refreshments and support for families. All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Shriners. We hope to see you there.
