Reminder Publications announces ‘Reader Snap Shots’ feature

Date: 4/3/2014

EAST LONGMEADOW – A graduation, a funny family moment, a classic candid of a dog or cat – Reminder Publications wants to share your favorite photographed moments with your friends and family.

In an effort to increase its commitment to community news, Reminder Publications is launching a new feature in its four weekly newspapers, “Reader Snap Shots.”

“We would like our readers to share with us the moments of their lives that are important to them,” Co-publisher Daniel Buendo explained.

Although the newspapers already publish submitted photos, Reader Snap Shots will be in a designated place in each edition and those photos that can not be published because of space restrictions will be part of the Reminder Publications’ website and Facebook page.

Photos to be considered for publications range in subject from children, sports, pets, engagement announcements, events at readers’ churches, clubs, and other organizations, prom and graduation photos.

If you’ve snapped a high resolution photo that is in focus, we’d like to see it and your neighbors would as well.

The photos are easy to submit through a specially designated page at www.thereminder.com/snapshots.

Readers will need to fill out a brief form and add a 20-word caption to accompany the photo. A phone number is required if there is a question about a photo. Anonymous submissions will not be accepted.
