Supporters of STCC invited to visit classrooms with STCC 101

Date: 8/31/2009

To the friends of STCC:

You likely have Springfield Technical Community College graduates working in your organization, or personally know someone whose life has been positively impacted by their STCC experience. We believe, as a business leader or member of the community, you will benefit from a deeper understanding of what STCC can offer you and your company. This is why we have created a new program called STCC 101, a series of classroom visits.

We hope you will take the time to let us introduce you to our college. President Ira Rubenzahl would like to show you the campus, introduce you to some STCC student leaders, and provide you with an opportunity to observe our students being challenged by state-of-the-art instruction.

The STCC 101 program will be held on the following dates: Sept. 23 or Oct. 22. Continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the Professional Development Center, visit three classrooms beginning at 8 a.m. (10 minutes each), and meet for brief wrap-up to conclude by 9 a.m.

President Rubenzahl and William Kwolek, Executive Director, look forward to showcasing their STCC students and campus. Call Kwolek at 755-4477 or e-mail wkwolek@stcc.edu to confirm your attendance.
