Artists wanted for Chicopee Library show

CHICOPEE Art applications are now available in all branches of the Chicopee Library for the Sixth Annual "Fine Art Friends Art Exhibit," taking place March 1 through April 3, 2010 in the Henry J. Bazan Community Room of the Emily L. Partyka Central Branch at 449 Front St. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and funded in part by a grant from the Chicopee Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Professional artists as well as accomplished amateurs from the region who are age 20 or older are invited to participate in this popular annual exhibit. Every entry will be exhibited; however, the Fine Art Friends Committee reserves the right to exclude artwork that it considers unsuitable for viewing by the general public.
