Chicopee honors those who have served

CHICOPEE — The Chicopee High School Air Force ROTC program provided the honor guard for the annual Veterans Day program last week. Wreaths were laid at the memorials that commemorate every conflict since the Civil War in which Chicopee men and women have served their country. Cadet Chris Clark stood at the wreath that honored the four Chicopee natives who have lost their lives in the line of duty during the current wars in the Middle East: Kevin Dupont, John Maloney, Daniel Newsome and Christopher Wilson.
