Couple opens new pub

CHICOPEE — For Holyoke residents Tim and Shelley Driscoll, the process to open Monty’s Roadhouse took a year of planning and work.
The couple hosted their grand opening last week for the bar and grill is located at 733 Chicopee St.
Tim explained that he saw the property listed online a year ago and decided to take the plunge being owners of a pub. Tim sells medical lasers and Shelley owns a salon in South Hadley.
Tim said that owning a bar was “something we both kicked around at times.”
The establishment will feature a pub menu and Tim said he would be using as many locally produced products as he can. The bar has seven televisions, 10 beers on tap and will be bringing Keno and live entertainment.
The couple named their new business after their pet bulldog.
