Caribbean Fest returns bigger and better

EAST LONGMEADOW Get ready for the Second Annual Family Carribean Fest on Sept. 9, 12 - 7 p.m. The festival is bigger and better this year and is set to have more community involvement.

Event organizer Chris Graziano promises great music, food and plenty of fun for the kids. There will be activities for children of all ages to do.

Some of the happenings and appearances include: Massages, soccer shoot, Verizon Technology Bus, dunk tank with principals and superintendent, rock climbing wall, Shaker Bowl bowling alley, golf putting, basketball shoot, football toss, baseball toss, golf instruction with Joe Eadie, golf pro, Remax hot air balloon rides, DDR, Wii, hair braiding, first aid station Redwood Pediatrics, two bounce houses, jousting, super slide, Melha clowns, balloon sculptures, pony rides, 50/50 raffle, StarBucks Mercury Man, safe house East Longmeadow Fire Dept., bike safety East Longmeadow Police Dept., Screech the Falcon, Tex the Armadillo, Michael Cady the cartoonist, hula hoop demo, face painting, festival t-shirts and more.



Family Caribbean Fest Entertainment 2007

Noon - 1 p.m. Mentos and New Horizon Band.

1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Berklee College of Music Bob Marley Ensemble.

3 - 5 p.m. Anthem Band.

5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Hot Like Fire Band.



Family Caribbean Fest 2007 food items: fried dough $2, beef patties $2, cotton candy $2, popcorn $1, water $1, beer $3, ice cream $1, burgers $2, dogs $1, jerk chicken $3, slush $2. Food tickets: $1 each.

Family Caribbean Fest is a fundraiser for East Longmeadow schools. So come on down and support the children. Advanced tickets are available through local Parent Teacher Organizations and Graziano Gardens. This event is brought to the public by the Norcross House and other area businesses.
