Celebrating 'Baba'

The East Longmeadow Baseball Association (ELBA) recently honored Albert "Baba" Tranghese during its annual Albert "Baba" Tranghese Baseball Tournament May 17-23. In addition to celebrating his 60th year as a coach in town, and celebrating his 90th birthday, Baba was given the ELBA Award for his many contributions to the association. The award was also renamed in his honor as the Albert "Baba" Tranghese Award.
