Last Wednesday, senior walkers from East Longmeadow and Longmeadow met for their annual Challenge Walk, beginning in Longmeadow and ending at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center. Meeting that foggy morning for the one-mile walk were East Longmeadow Morning Glory Walkers, from left, Betty Chones, Mary Hogan, Marge Banning and Millie Colapietro. The women were waiting for the three-milers to reach the Longmeadow Shoppes, from which point they would finish the walk together. The walk ended at the Skilled Nursing Center with brunch and awards.
