| EAST LONGMEADOW The East Longmeadow Garden Club would like to announce its annual Plant and Bake Sale. A new feature this year will be a Tag Sale. The event will be held at Heritage Park, Route 83 on May 20th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monies raised from the sale will help to fund Garden Club projects such as town beautification on the rotary, Arbor Day in the schools for fifth graders (everyone gets a seedling), informational speakers at our monthly meetings and schloarships for those studying horticulture in college. Also in June 2007, the Garden Club will sponsor a tour of selected area gardens.Anyone interested in having their garden on display is asked to call Judy Severin at 525-6653 by June 30. |
