EAST LONGMEADOW – The East Longmeadow Police, Massachusetts State Police, and even a firefighter from the Shaker Pines Fire Department in Enfield, CT, welcomed families at a Coffee with a Cop/Car Seat Inspection Day at the East Longmeadow High School. Dozens of cars at a time lined up to have their car seats inspected and many people received new car seats to replace outdated ones. Kids had the chance to sit in a helicopter and fire truck, as well as activate the siren in a police cruiser.
