E.L. Library announces summer programs

The East Longmeadow Public Library Announces its summer children's programs.

The "Catch the Beat @ your library Summer Reading and Read-to-Me Program" has started. All ages welcome, both readers and children who need to be read to.

Give it a whirl, it's easy.

Have a parent or guardian initial a clock on the calendar to show that you have read for an hour. For each hour you read you will earn a raffle ticket for the pick-your-own-prize raffle. Whenever you can, bring your logbook to the library to be checked off and receive your prizes.

Note: Reading Club Hours are from: 9:30 a.m. until a half an hour before regular closing time. All logbooks must be reported by Aug. 3 to receive credit. Also any reading or listening done from June 18 on will be counted, regardless of when you registered.

Read and earn raffle tickets for fabulous prize packages. If we draw your ticket you will receive that prize package. All readers and read to me children will receive some prizes.

We wish to thank all of the sponsors that make this fun and literary program possible:

The Friends of the East Longmeadow Library, Fenway Golf, Shaker Bowl Fazio's, U.S. Academy of Martial Arts, Interskate 91, Shaker Bowl, The Majestic Theater, The Texas Roadhouse, Country Buffet, The Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, Waste Management and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, with the support of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Catch the Beat @ your library, the 2007 Massachusetts Summer Library Adventure, your local library, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems, Waste Management and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
