Hasbro announces Giving Tree results

EAST LONGMEADOW Hasbro capped off their 25th anniversary of the Annual Giving Tree by donating more than 60,000 toys and games and helping collect more than 650 pounds of food. They invited East Longmeadow students from Birchland Park and East Longmeadow High School , and Springfield students from Milton Bradley to come and celebrate this year's success.
Springfield Mayor Domenic J. Sarno, Dora Robinson of the United Way of Pioneer Valley, Major Thomas Perks of the Salvation Army and Vice President of Global Integration at Hasbro George Burtch were all on hand for the affair. Burtch thanked everyone for their efforts, especially the elementary students who completed more than 1,500 Acts of Kindness during the 2009 holiday season.
