Eleven-year-old Eric Pomeroy mans his family's vegetable stand at the Pomeroy Vegetable Farm at 244 Hampden Road in East Longmeadow. A sign behind Pomeroy says that the zucchini, summer squash, Magda squash and cucumbers on display are all grown on the premises, without the use of pesticides or herbicides. The stand, which has been in the Pomery family for over 30 years, is open through the fall, offering an assortment of pesticide-free vegetables throughout the season.
