Mapleshade hosts electronics recycling day

EAST LONGMEADOW - It's spring cleaning time, so let's go green by recycling our unused electronics on April 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mapleshade School parking lot, rain or shine.

For $5, recycle small appliances such as toaster ovens, blenders, etc., monitors, computers, laptops, printers/scanners, office machines, VCRs/DVD players, radios/stereos, computer speakers/stereo speakers, iPods/Walkmans/MP3 players and cellphones/PDAs.

For $10 recycle microwaves, vacuums, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc.

For $25 recycle larger appliances such as freezers or refrigerators.

Recycle used batteries - large (car) for $2, all others free. Ink and toner cartridges also recycled free.

Televisions are $20 (all sizes).

This event is cash only. Receipts available upon request.

One hundred percent of all proceeds to benefit Mapleshade School.
