Marvelous Mapleshade teacher

Feb. 15, 2010Emily Mastroianni, a fifth grader at Mapleshade School, recently nominated her teacher, Marie Matulewicz, for the teacher of the month contest hosted by KIX 97.9. Morning DJs Mike Tyler and Jen Arra stopped by the school on Feb. 11 to give the award to Mrs. Matulewicz, who was chosen from hundreds of nomination letters. Emily wrote that her teacher "doesn't make work boring" and is "loving and kind." She added, "We don't need much because she gives us all we need to have a good time in school."
