| EAST LONGMEADOW St. Paul Lutheran Church of East Longmeadow recently announced plans to host its second annual Golf Outing on Sept. 25 at Hampden Country Club. The outing is open to men, women, singles, doubles, and foursomes. No handicaps are required organizers will help set up foursomes. The outing will begin at 1 p.m. with a modified shotgun/scramble start. A buffet dinner at the 19th Hole will take place at 6 p.m. The cost is $110 per golfer, which includes greens fee, driving range, snacks, prizes and steak or chicken dinner. Adult dinner guests not playing in the tournament are welcome for $25. Proceeds fromthe Golf Outing will benefit the Growing in God's Love Building Fund. Golfers must sign up by Sept. 19. Checks, payable to St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund (memo: golf outing) may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church, PO Box 1055 East Longmeadow, MA 01028, Attn: Joyce Donovan. For checks sent to cover a combination of fees, please specify number of golfers and their names, or number of dinner-only attendees. Player registration forms are also available at the church. |
