Taste to capture essence of Greece

The Greek Orthodox Church of St. Luke, 400 Prospect Street, East Longmeadow, invite you to their sixth annual Taste of Greece. This unique and enjoyable eating experience will be held Oct. 26 and 27 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Taste will feature traditional Greek fare such as souvlaki, gyros and lamb shank as well as a special fish dinner on Friday. Also available to eat in or take home will be delicious pastries and sweet breads. All food has been prepared homemade and will be served either a la carte or to go. New this year to the Taste will be trays of homemade spinach pie frozen and available for purchase. As in previous years, Greek beer, wine and ouzo as well as coffee and desserts will also be offered.

Live Greek music with bouzouki players and the St. Luke Youth Dancers will entertain on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Olympic souvenirs and imported jewelry and clothes will be for sale in the gift shop.

Admission and parking is free. There will be a cash bar. Seating and food stations will be located inside the Pappas Fellowship Hall, 400 Prospect Street, East Longmeadow.
