East Longmeadow resident and Mountain View third grader Alyssa Pioggia got her hair cut in June, donating 11-12 inches of it to Locks of Love, an agency that helps children who are experiencing medical hair loss. "I felt like, I had long hair, and I could help somebody out," Pioggia explained.
