The Faith Tabernacle Church Band provided entertainment for East Longmeadow's third annual National Night Out.
Maeve O'Sullivan, 3, had her face painted and played at the tables provided by the Kids Place. She and her parents, Katie and Bob O'Sullivan, came out to "enjoy a fun event in the community."

One of the highlights of the car show, which included 87 entries this year, was Richard Markham's "Ice Car."

Al Saulnier, who serves with the Fourth Degree Honor Guard with the Knights of Columbus, was decked out in full regalia for the event. The four degrees of the Knights are charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.

The Rotary Club of East Longmeadow displayed one of their shelter boxes at the event. Used in emergency situations, the shelter box offers a variety of supplies and a tent large enough to sleep a family of 10.
