EAST LONGMEADOW — Witches, dinosaurs and caped crusaders, along with their parents, came out to the Trunk-or-Treat at the Pleasant View Senior Center on Oct. 26. The center’s front lawn was filled with families who stopped for candy at each of the roughly dozen vehicles lined up. Each vehicle was decorated in a theme, from Candy Land to “Lilo and Stitch.” More than simply candy stations, some of the vehicles offered activities, such as “fishing” and a ball toss. There was also an area to roast marshmallows and make smores. The main hallway of the center was turned into a haunted house, complete with skeletons, voice-activated ghouls and spooky decorations.
