UNICO Club announces Man of the Year

EAST LONGMEADOW Frank Falcone has been named the East Longmeadow UNICO 2005 Man of the Year. He has been a member of the East Longmeadow Chapter of UNICO National for seven years. Falcone and his wife Anna have been married for 45 years and have been residents of East Longmeadow for 33 years. They have three children and seven grandchildren. A retired firefighter, he is also a member of the Elks Lodge 51 in Springfield.

The Man of the Year honor goes to individuals that through their commitment and dedication best exemplify UNICO's motto of "service above self." UNICO National is the largest Italian-American service organization in the United States. Locally, the East Longmeadow chapter for over 30 years has donated thousands of dollars in scholarships and to other needy social and civic causes.
