EAST LONGMEADOW – Monson Savings Bank President Daniel Moriarty and CEO Steven Lowell present the East Longmeadow Veteran’s Memorial Committee with a check for $10,000 to help create the East Longmeadow Veteran’s Memorial. On hand to help celebrate the donation, the largest one received by the committee to date, was state Rep. Brian Ashe; Rick Morse and Kevin Rothschild-Shea of Architecture EL, which created the memrorial’s design; town of East Longmeadow Director of Human Resources Elaine Grimaldi; Town Manager Mary McNally; Acting COA Director Danell Tavello, committee Chair Terry Glusko Sr. and committee members Walter Esposito, Edward Brown, T. Robert Wallace and Donald Gamache.
“I think its going to remind the community of the sacrifice that a lot of people have made. Being new to the community, we thought it was important to help remind people of that,” said Lowell.
