Holyoke Public Library hosts mini golf fundraiser

Date: 4/12/2022

HOLYOKE – The Master’s Tournament marks the sport of golf’s biggest weekend of the year, but it also happened to be a big weekend for golf in the city of Holyoke.

Returning to the Holyoke Public Library on April 9 was the Mini Golf and Games fundraiser that was on a two year COVID-19 related hiatus. The community event and fundraiser saw all ages come through the library’s halls and play a round of mini golf to help raise money that will go towards improvements at the library.

The event also saw many families and children come by and participate in the community event. With hole 1 starting on the Library’s top floor, the course would gradually move through the library halls and down it’s floors to create an entire 18-hole mini golf course.

In addition to the mini golf, there was also a set up for children and families to try Human Foosball outside the building. Alongside the Human Foosball set up, there also included reading walks that included stations through the sidewalk route from both the Peace Book and The Lorax for children to read and enjoy.
The event also included food truck services from Fritura Latina and Crave.
