Host families sought for Holyoke Giants players

HOLYOKE - The Holyoke Giants baseball team is looking for families to host our Giants players this summer. Our players live in your homes from approximately the beginning of June until the beginning of August. Giants players are college students from around the country who come to play in Holyoke so that they can gain the experience, confidence and the contacts they need to further their Baseball careers. Please look over our roster and see the players names, stats, hometowns and colleges they attend by visiting www.holyokegiants.com. Each host family will receive an invitation to a pre-season reception, two free tickets to every home game and discount coupons from local businesses.

The Holyoke Giants, is a member of The New England Collegiate Baseball League, a Premier Collegiate Wood Bat League attracting top College prospects from around the coutry.

The Giants home field, MacKenzie Stadium, hosts 21 home dates. The first home game will be vs. the NECBL 2006 Champion Vermont Montaineers on June 12. The Giants open their 42 game season this year in Vermont on June 8 versus the 2006 NECBL Champion Vermont Mountaineers.
