| HOLYOKE - The Holyoke Creative Arts Center is proud to announce that quilting instructor, Marsha Molloy, took first prize in the "Old Deerfield Quilt Challenge" at Hands All Around XI Quilt Show recently at Amherst College. Molloy is a member of the Hands Across the Valley Quilters Guild who presented this biennial show. Molloy has been an instructor at the Creative Arts Center for close to 20 years. She teaches both day and evening quilting classes Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a variety of workshops including Baltimore Album Applique and Civil War Quilt. She is a wonderful teacher and mentor for the many students she has had over the years, as evidenced by the impressive participation of nine of her current students as exhibitors in the show. |
