LONGMEADOW - On March 26 and 27 at Blueberry Hill Elementary, 93 students will take to the stage, competing to be named "Blueberry Hill Idol."
An event which began four years ago at the school, "Blueberry Hill Idol" is a perfect way for students to have fun and show off their talent.
"One of the parents decided to run an event that the children would truly enjoy," parent Irma, who is running this year's "Idol," said.
"Blueberry Hill Idol" is a family show and is open to the public. Tickets will be sold at $10 for general seating and $15 for VIP seating. It will begin at 6 p.m. on March 26 and 1:30 p.m. on March 27.
"There were so many performers who auditioned that one show would have been over five hours long," Irma commented. "In past years, the show was well attended and in some instances, sold out."
The event was well missed last year when it was unable to run so this year holds high expectations and has incredible promise to be an amazing show.
