LONGMEADOW – Several businesses at The Longmeadow Shops, 690 Bliss Rd., Longmeadow, hosted food and clothing drives, as well as other events, to encourage shoppers to give on Nov. 20. The Day of Giving included toy drives to benefit Toys for Tots, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity that distribute toys to children in need. Athleta, Delaney’s Market, InChic Shoenique, and J.Crew Factory hosted toy drives, while Brenda Cuoco & Associates Real Estate Brokerage and J.Jill collected food donations for the Open Pantry in Springfield.
The giving continues at The Longmeadow Shops as Athleta, Brenda Cuoco & Associates Real Estate Brokerage, Caren & Company, Chico’s, Delaney’s Market, Fleet Feet, Francesca’s, GAP, InChic Shoenique, J.Crew Factory, M&T Bank, OkSana Salon & Spa, Provisions and R Wireless will all be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys and books for Toys for Tots until Dec. 4.
