LONGMEADOW No decision has been made on the proposed construction of an 11,750 square foot, one-story profes-sional/medical building on the land on Dwight and Converse Streets. The public hearing has been continued to Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.

Planning Board Chair Walter Gunn said while there was no present opposition to the project at the hearing, there were concerns about traffic issues regarding the entrance and exit to the property.

On Nov. 9, applicant Jeffrey LeBeau, Jr., project engineer from Baystate Environmental Consultants, gave a presentation outlining the project, as the board reviewed his application and hosted preliminary discussions. The project would also include parking, landscaping and drainage., all of which would be paid by the applicant, Gunn said. Part of the project also includes the widening of Dwight Street on the west side to allow for an exclusive left turning lane into the site northbound traffic on Dwight Road.
