Wolf Swamp School packs for the troops
Date: 3/22/2010
March 22, 2010Sandy Passmore's kindergarten class at Wolf Swamp Road School recently worked on a very important project together -- assembling blue boxes of goodies to send to troops serving overseas. Gail Hurley, grandmother of student George Hurley, donated the boxes to the students, who filled them with hand wipes, cookies, lip balm, drink mixes, gum, candy, playing cards and beef jerky. Principal Kimberly Stillwell said she really supported the project because her brother is currently serving in Afghanistan. "This will make the soldiers very happy," she told the class.
