July 19Book Circle Night, 6 p.m. If you enjoy reading legal thrillers, pick any book by Lisa Scottoline and join us for discussion. A light picnic supper will be provided. July 28Quilting Bee Night, 6 p.m. Local quilter, Nancy Jez will present a quilting demonstration. Join us as she shares her talent and a history of quilting. Open to patrons ages 14 and up. Aug. 2Bee Happy Night, 6 p.m. Learn to let go of stress. Join us for a free yoga demonstration, massages and more. Aug. 9"In Stitches" Knitting Group, 10:30 a.m. Cindy Seiffert of Granby will present a wool spinning demonstration. Come and learn more about this historic craft and see sample wools created from sheep, llamas, and rabbits. Bring your current knitting project and join us for a morning of fun. Aug. 15Kenya Night, 6 p.m. Alice and Philippe Denette of Granby will present a narrative slide lecture of their recent trip to Kenya. Come and experience travel, learning about the country's customs and enjoy refreshments. Aug. 23Hawaiian Party Night, 6 p.m. Adult Summer Reading Program participants and their families are invited to attend our finale.
