Aug. 9"In Stitches" Knitting Group, 10:30 a.m. Cindy Seiffert of Granby will present a wool spinning demonstration. Come and learn more about this historic craft and see sample wools created from sheep, llamas, and rabbits. Bring your current knitting project and join us for a morning of fun. Aug. 15Kenya Night, 6 p.m. Alice and Philippe Denette of Granby will present a narrative slide lecture of their recent trip to Kenya. Come and experience travel, learning about the country's customs and enjoy refreshments. Aug. 23Hawaiian Party Night, 6 p.m. Adult Summer Reading Program participants and their families are invited to attend our finale.
