16 Acres CVS officially underway

"Welcome to the future of 16 Acres," said City Councilor and 16 Acres resident Clodo Concepcion (third from left) at the May 4 official groundbreaking for the new CVS pharmacy now under construction on the corner of Wilbraham Road and Parker Street. Concepcion was joined by (left to right) Hampden Bank President Tom Burton, City Council President and fellow 16 Acres resident Jose Tosadao, Mayor Domenic Sarno, Colvest CEO Frank Calachino, State Rep. Angelo Puppolo and CVS Regional Manager Erika Kerr. Concepcion said he looked at the completion of the project as the capstone of the revitilizaiton of the 16 Acres business district.
