Area residents turn out for '1,000 Hoodies' march

news@thereminder.comSPRINGFIELD — An estimated 1,000 people met at Springfield City Hall on March 31 to participate in a march and rally to show support of Trayvon Martin's family following his controversial death. Mayor Domenic Sarno, State Sen. James Welch and State Reps. Cheryl Coakley Rivera and Benjamin Swan were among those who attended the event.
