Communities connecting for Gov. Deval Patrick April 18

SPRINGFIELD - Gov. Deval Patrick will join with supporters, grass roots organizers and residents this Sunday in Springfield for the "Communities Connecting for Deval Patrick" event at the Latino Chamber of Commerce.



The event will be an opportunity for the governor to speak directly with local supporters and residents, and discuss his administration's achievements, the upcoming reelection campaign and lay out his vision for a better Commonwealth.



This past weekend, Gov. Patrick and Lt. Gov. Tim Murray officially kicked off their reelection campaigns, visiting 18 communities at 22 different events throughout the weekend, including rallies in Boston, Worcester and Holyoke.



Gov. Patrick will be at the Latino Chamber of Commerce, 1655 Main St., on April 18. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., and Gov. Patrick arrives at 3 p.m.

A community sponsored Urban Town Hall Meeting with Gov. Deval Patrick will be hosted by the African American Clergy Alliance on April 18.



Gov. Patrick will meet with area clergy in a private dinner meeting preceding an Urban Town Hall Meeting taking place at the Spring of Hope Church of God in Christ.



The Urban Town Hall Meeting will take place at Spring of Hope Church of God in Christ, 35 Alden St., on April 18 starting at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.).
