| By Kaitlyn Schroyer Staff Intern SIXTEEN ACRES There are not many churches that can proudly say that they have been around for 50 years. Foster Memorial Church on Puritan Road has been around since 1958. On Sept. 28, the church will be hosting a celebration of their 50th anniversary. "There will a dedication to thanking teachers and directors for their work over the years," Judy Rososky, current chair of the board of directors for the Foster Memorial Nursery School, said. In addition to being a church, Foster Memorial is also home to a nursery school. Kids of all ages up to eighth grade are welcomed into the church's different programs from preschool to faith workshops, or Sunday school. The celebrating will be fairly quiet and will include coffee and cake. All are welcome to attend. |
