Board of Appeals will host hearings Aug. 22

WEST SPRINGFIELD The West Springfield Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. in the second floor Auditorium in the J. Edward Christian Municipal Office Building, 26 Central Street, West Springfield.

The purpose of the hearing is to consider an application to amend an existing Variance to allow for three additional units to be constructed within the existing structure with no exterior alteration proposed at the property located at 110 Monastery Avenue in a Residence A-1 (RA-1) and Residence A-2 (RA-2) zoning district.

The applicant and record owner is 110 Monastery Associates, Limited Partnership of Braintree, MA.

The West Springfield Zoning Board of Appeals will also hold a public hearing on August 22, 2005, at 7:05 p.m. regarding an application for a Special Permit to allow for the alteration of a pre-existing non-conforming structure by increasing the height of the walls on the right side of the building to accommodate roof trusses to alleviate drainage problems and adding storage space. The property is located at 26 Mulberry Street in a Business A (BA) zoning district. The applicant and record owner is Phillips Realty Trust of East Longmeadow, MA.
