| WEST SPRINGFIELD The West Springfield Chapter of United, Neighborliness, Integrity, Charity and Opportunity (UNICO) National will be hosting their annual 4th of July Chicken Barbeque on the Town Common on July 4th. The menu for the day is: half a chicken, baked potato, green beans, watermelon and lemonade. The meal will be served, rain or shine, from 11:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost of the ticket is $8.50 and purchasing your tickets in advance is advised as tickets are going fast. Tickets may be purchased at West Springfield Senior Center, the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department or by calling Karen DiClementi, at (413) 896-0506. If you have over five meals going to the same address, UNICO members will be happy to deliver these meals to any West Springfield resident the day of this event. MEALS MUST BE PREPAID IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OFFER. Events, such as this, help the organization fund special needs projects, scholarships, kids' camps, youth sports, and so much more. |
