| WEST SPRINGFIELD The West Springfield Park and Recreation Department is currently holding sign-ups for the fall volleyball program for West Springfield residents who are 9-13 years of age as of December 31, 2005. The volleyball program takes place at the Middle School Gymnasium on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 8. The 8-week program will teach rules, drills and skills necessary for the progression into playing games. Members of the High School Volleyball Team and their coach will be on hand to assist in instruction. Pre-registration for this program is required. Registrations are currently being accepted at the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department, 26 Central Street, 2nd floor of the Municipal Office Building, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. The registration fee for this program is $35.
