Church hosts book, movie discussion

WILBRAHAM On May 21 at 6:45 p.m. Evangel Assembly in Wilbraham will host a live simulcast event called "Unlocking the Da Vinci Code" to serve as a forum for people's questions raised by the book and movie.

Hosted by Lee Strobel (a former spiritual skeptic, award-winning legal editor of the Chicago Tribune and the best-selling author of The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith) and Mark Mittelberg (a best-selling author and sought-after speaker), this 90-minute broadcast will open with footage of Lee at the Louvre Museum in Paris, the site of the fictional murder that opens The Da Vinci Code.

Then, Dr. Erwin Lutzer, senior pastor of the historic Moody Church in Chicago will address the historical issues raised by both the book and movie.

The three presenters will wrap up the event with a live, interactive question and answer session for the satellite audience that those in attendance will be able to participate in.
