Club open to new members

WILBRAHAM The Wilbraham Junior Women's Club welcomes all residents to join in the Club's activities.

The Wilbraham Junior Women's Club, started in 1977, is affiliated with the world's largest and oldest volunteer women's service organization.

The Club is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the life of others through volunteer service. The membership supports the arts, natural resources, education, healthy lifestyles and civic involvement.

Membership in the club is open to any woman, over the age of 18, who is a resident of the community of Wilbraham.

Membership offers the opportunity to work on an individual and local level toward a better community, as well as the opportunity to develop lasting friendships with a diverse group of women through our projects and social events.

Club meetings take place the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Scantic Valley YMCA, Post Office Park, Wilbraham (excluding June, July and August). For more information, stop by one of the informal information sessions listed below or contact Brenda Willard, Membership Chairperson, at 596-3796.

The Junior Women's Club will be at the Scantic Valley YMCA May 24 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and at the Brooks Room at the Library on May 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Children are always welcome.
