| HAMPDEN Michele Plourde-Barker of the Connecticut Valley Historic Museum will be the guest speaker at the Oct. 24, meeting of the Hampden Historical Society. Plourde-Barker will discuss the procedures followed to protect and organize archival materials and photographs. The Tuesday program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Academy Hall, Main Street, Hampden.
