| WILBRAHAM Wilbraham Recreation Department announces its Men's Softball League registration will be open through June 9. This is open to any and all men age 18 or older. Games will take place Mondays and Tuesdays, beginning June 19. The games will take place at Minnechaug Regional High School JV, or Mile Tree Softball Diamonds. Cost is $200 per team. Each team is responsible for their uniforms and equipment. The cost per team does not cover umpires during the regular season. Each team is responsible for paying umpires at each game. The cost per umpire is $15 from each team. The town will provide game balls and catcher's equipment. The Recreation Department will also cover the umpire's fees for the playoffs. There is also a $50 Forfeit Fee (check will be returned at the end of the year if no games are forfeited). The program requires a minimum of 39 players three teams of 13 to create the league. Coaches/captains over 21 years of age are required for each team. Pick up registration forms at the Wilbraham Recreation Department. Registration forms and fees must be returned to the Recreation Department by June 9.
