Republican Town Committee to host caucus

WILBRAHAM - The Wilbraham Republican Town Committee will host a caucus of all registered Republicans in the town on March 29 at the Wilbraham Middle School at 7 p.m. to select candidates for the town election in the spring.

The goal of the caucus is to present a full slate of qualified Republican candidates for the town election on May 22. Anyone interested in being a Republican candidate should contact the Chair of the Republican Town Committee, D. John McCarthy, at 596-8752. The caucus is open to any registered Republican in the town of Wilbraham and nominations will be taken from the floor.

The following positions will be on annual town election ballot: Board of Selectman three years; Board of Assessors - three years; Regional School Committee - three years, Cemetery Commissioner - three years; Water Commissioner - three years; two Board of Library Trustees positions - three years each; Board of Library Trustees - one year; Planning Board - five years; and Housing Authority - five years.
