Students celebrate Arbor Day

Arbor Day is an American holiday that encourages the planting and care of trees. Founded by J. Sterling Morton in Nebraska in 1872, National Arbor Day is celebrated each year on the last Friday in April. Soule Road School in Wilbraham recently celebrated the day by planting some trees of their own. Here, Wilbraham's Tree Warden Richard Swain gives Soule Road School second grader Willem Feuhr a sapling during their Arbor Day celebration.
